As the days grow sunnier, markets speed up their bustling rhythm, and colorful garden fetes feature the season's new blooms. Easter showcases the talents of the local chocolatiers and patissiers. Monpazier is proudly classified a "Village Fleurie", and hosts a flower festival every May, with a huge variety of roses on show. Seasonal Spring specialties include: white asparagus, tender milk-fed lamb and the last of the pigeon & wild mushrooms.
